CNY IACI PROGRAM:
AN GORTA MÓR

Members of the CNY Chapter have created a multi-media presentation on “An Gorta Mór” – the Great Hunger. This program details in pictures, music and voice the tragedy of what has been know as the Irish Potato Famine of the 1840’s. This period in history saw up to a million Irish lives lost to starvation, and an estimated one million more Irish citizens forced to emigrate. Check this page frequently for updated information.
